Dear step-father of Marilyn Kelly (husband Ira), Pembroke; and Arlene Krieger (husband Dwayne), Pembroke. Predeceased by Deardrie Prescott (husband Mancel), Chapeau, Que. Step-grandfather to 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Son of the late Robert and Emily Farnel (nee Roberts). Brother of Irene Robinson (husband late Stanley), Beachburg; and Earl Farnel (wife Lorna), Beachburg. Predeceased by Melvin Farnel (wife late Irene), Marjory Newman (husband late Lloyd), Ivan Farnel (wife late Claire), and Doris Bell. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Tuesday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Pembroke Pentecostal Cemetery followed by a reception in Hamilton Hall.
