Albert Deveen

DEVEEN, Albert – closed his eyes and his suffering ended, with his wife by his side at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 10, 2019 in his 78th year. 

Albert of Pembroke, leaves to mourn his loving wife of 45 years Ann (nee Lyons), children Albert (Lori), Sydney NS & Jo-Ann (Dan) Bissonnette, Ottawa and grandchildren Eoghan, Aulay & Edda; and Christine, Adam, Katherine & Lara.  Son of the late Johannes and Aaltje Deveen.  Brother of Jack (Mina), Pembroke; Ivan (Gertrude), Ottawa and Harm (Audrey), Pembroke. 

Albert was a dedicated employee of 47 years with Dibblee & Lafarge Construction building roads in Ottawa.  He prided himself in his work, always striving to do his best, rain or shine! 

Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  A Funeral Service will be held at Zion Christian Reformed Church, 152 Drive-In Road on Friday at 10:30 a.m.  Interment in Wesley United Cemetery.  For the wonderful care shown to Albert and his family, donations to the Pembroke Regional Hospital or Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.  Online donations/condolences are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
