Tompkins, Ailene Anne – passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, October 18, 2024. 

Ailene Tompkins (nee Hurren) of Petawawa, wife and best-friend of 61 years to George Tompkins. Devoted mother of Karen Anne Tompkins (Karen Bernard) and Ron Tompkins (Kim). Daughter of the late Roy and Violet Hurren (nee Dicker). Sister of Jean Johnson (Doug) and Mary Ellen Hurren (Dave Buhlman). 

A Memorial Service will be held at Calvin United Church, 276 Church St., Pembroke on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Parkinson’s Society or Pembroke Horticultural Society.
