Agnes Lay

LAY, Agnes Lillian - passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 in her 100th year. Agnes Lay of Pembroke, daughter of the late Arlington and Pamela Lay (nee Malboeuf). Predeceased by sisters Stella Stewart (late Richard), Irene Lehmann (late Paul) & Pam Lay; brother Warren Lay (late Beulah); and her beloved nephew Melvin Stewart whom she raised. Aunt Aggie will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews: Ivy Stewart (late John Girard), Ranald Stewart (Darlene), Rose Binet (John), Wallace Lehmann (Linda) & Joan Lay and their families; as well as the families of her dear nephews who predeceased her. Special thanks to Miramichi Lodge for all of the care & compassion shown to Agnes and her family over the last year and a half. Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment in First Baptist Cemetery, Pembroke.
